The winter series re-starts at Sweetwater Brook on the 2nd September, which unfortunately coincides with yet another birthday for me. So if you fancy a pint after the trial I will be buying at the Blacksmiths Arms.

These are treated as two separate Trials for results and the cost is £10 per day for adults and £5 for youth riders.

There is camping overnight and some refreshments (burgers etc) provided after the Saturday Trial thanks to the efforts of the Gustar family who are also marking out the Trial !!

Saturday Start of Trial is at 3pm
Sunday Start is 11:30am

As many competitors as possible would be welcome as a lot of effort is being put into the organisation..!!!

VERY IMPORTANT!!

A CONDITION OF USE OF THIS VENUE IS THAT ALL COMPETITORS PARK IN THE FARMYARD NEAR THE ROAD. THIS MAY BE A BIT TIGHT FOR SPACE SO PARK AS CLOSE TOGETHER AS YOU CAN SO ALL WILL HOPEFULLY FIT !!!!!

Note that the third and fourth event is now two days of trials fun on the 21st and 22nd of July and you can all camp at Lee Brickyard, thanks to the generosity of Ann and John Gustar.

The Summer Series comprises of 5 trials, all of which will be NO-STOP, there will be clarification of this as well as Q&A's in the briefing at the start of the first event on the 27th of may at 12:30.

Your best three results in the summer series will be counted towards the championship total, the points are as follows:
1st = 10
2nd = 7
3rd = 5
4th = 4
5th = 3
6th = 2
7th = 1

Early this week the Isle of Wight lost one of its pioneers of trials motorcycling (both on the Island and further afield) It is with great sadness that Mike Attrill contact me to request that’s as many of Aubrey’s friends and acquaintances old and new are given the news.
Page 55 of today’s country press has a touching obituary to Aubrey.
The funeral is at the crematorium on Monday 2/4/12 at 12.45.
Our thoughts are with Doreen (Auberys wife for over 60 yrs) Mike, Ellie,Emily, Christopher and Julie.
